Ask Bucky is a portfolio demo. It uses submitted questions and any temporary context you choose to provide to generate grounded answers.
01 / Collection
What may be saved
When the assistant cannot answer a valid professional question, it may save the question text, a failure category, the highest retrieval score, review status, and creation time in Supabase. Uploaded document text is never included in that record.
02 / Boundaries
What is not saved
The feedback record does not include raw IP addresses, user identity, successful questions, chat history, uploaded files, or voice data. Inputs that appear to contain contact details, credentials, or obvious spam are excluded from feedback logging.
03 / Purpose
Temporary AI processing
Voice audio is sent through this site's server to OpenAI for transcription, then discarded by the application. PDF and TXT files are parsed for the current assistant session only. Selected text may be sent to OpenAI with a question to produce the answer, but files and extracted text are not placed in Supabase Storage or Bucky's permanent profile index.
04 / Retention
What remains
Temporary audio and document context expire when the current page session ends or the attachment is removed. Separately, eligible unanswered question text may be retained for human review until it is reviewed or deleted. Hashed network identifiers are used only to enforce daily demo limits; raw IP addresses are not stored by the application.
